Atheists: What would happen to you if you lived a lie?

Supposing, for whatever reason, you bowed at the altar and professed Jesus as Lord and Savior. Maybe you did it to impress a girlfriend or boyfriend, who knows...but you did it. Now everyone who witnessed it thinks you are a born again Christian. How long do you live the lie?
