Whey protein questions?

Depends on which kind you buy, there are a bunch of them and they all claim something different. Also depends if you are trying to lose or gain weight. I'm going to ume you want to gain muscle weight, so I usually take mine one in the morning, one after my workout and one about 3 hours before bed (too close to bed and it is bad for your body to digest while sleeping, plus eating/drinking before bed can give you nightmares supposedly). Then I do 1 protein shake on my off days, but instead of just the powder and milk, I do powder, milk, and a few scoops of vanilla ice cream (low fat) in the blender and make a shake out of it. Helps to put on the pounds (muscle of course). Another thing to try if you are working on losing weight instead of gaining, or you gain fat and muscle when you take protein and lift and want to make it more just muscle, then try doing plain or vanilla yogurt with milk and vanilla flavored whey and throw some fresh (or frozen, just not canned) fruit of your choice in with it, blend, and viola, it's delicious and low fat. I like blueberries and bananas in mine, but try a few different combos and see what you like best. You can try more or less fruit too to determine what tastes best to you, but with fresh fruit you really can't go wrong. Good luck!
