White 'sacs' on eardrum and inner ear?

I was having a lot of clear ear drainage today and yesterday so I went to the Doctor. When she looked in there she said she saw "white fluid filled sacs" on my ear drum and in my inner ear but didn't know what they were, so she is referring me to ENT. I made an appointment with them but I wanted to know if anyone has heard of this before? My ears are also very itchy and draining this clear fluid A LOT. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
