I have a 13 year old paint horse?

MY horse hasn't been riddin in about four or five years and i would really like to get him back into riding and taking him to the local rodeo next year!! So do yall think that he will remember about being riddin and will be easy to rid him or will he be skidish and bucking and wont take a saddle!! Please help me!!
