I have an oil painting signed jason bought in north devon as any one any info on the artist?

he had a studio at the harbour in ilfracombe the painting is an original done in oil that shows a smuggling scene eg a sailing ship in a cove under moon light being unloaded i have seen prints of it i would like to know if he has a web sight or means of contact
