If its not GWBushes fault,and the republican parties fault that this country is in this shape...?

Then why do the republicans care about who gets elected? The republicans tell me that ole GW does not have a thing to do with this depression that we are in.I don't understand?...if it makes no difference WHO is in..Why are they voting republican?
