I think my thumb may be cracked but I'm afraid to get a cast?

You should at least get your thumb looked at. They usually dont put a big cast on a finger. You can always reject treatment, but you would at least have an informed decision then. Thats better than not going until a year from now and finding out your thumb needs surgery is permanently injured because you didnt get it treated.
