How do I attach brackets to dry wall but there are bricks behind it. I can't find studs but hit brick.?

I am trying to install a cornice over a doorwall. It is somewhat heavy. I planned to use 4 L-shaped brackets, screw them into drywall, set the cornice on top and fasten underneath. I have installed others this way in other homes. I used drywall anchors but they hit brick.

If no signs of parasites are found (you may want to try this anyway, as it can't hurt to try both) wash all her bedding and any other materiel she's exposed to often (e.g if she sleeps on your bed or the couch) using an anti allergy powder or soap. If there is no change at all within 1-2 weeks, she will need to be taken down the vets as it could be a medical problem. Can a leaking water pump cause the timing chain to go out on my 1993 jeep grand cherokee?

It has a straight 6 cyl. It over heated and when taking it apart we noticed a few holes in the radiator. Replaced that. Put it all back together and had it running. It didn't overheat but after about 15 minutes it acted like it was running out of gas and it died. Put gas in it and it still won't start. Just turns over with no fire. But we noticed that it is still leaking. not the hoses.not the radiator. so now it won't start and it is leaking antifreeze.

He can learn lots of great moves, is extremely strong attack-wise and HP-wise, and is a clic! He can learn probably just what you need to take out flying types. I guess the earthquake thing could be a slight problem, but just get his level really high and you should be okay. Snorlax is my suggestion to you.

What music should I listen to?

I've never cared for any kind of music except Clical; I'm really into it, and listen to it as much as I can. I study voice, and piano, and (clical) music history; I've never felt the need for any other kind of music. I know practically nothing about modern music, except that I don't care for it; I'm not trying to be a snob, I just don't like the way it sounds and it doesn't seem as complex or abstract as, say, Mozart. How long before the shrink medicates me?

I know it's different for everyone, but a general time frame...How long does someone have to have therapy before you can get meds? I am dx ADHD and changing from my family doctor to a psychologist and someone in his office can write RXs. Will they have to test me or something? Maybe my diagnosis from the family doctor is enough? 94 honda civic, hops in reverse, please help!?

i just had the clutch replaced and one of the same problems i had prior to the clutch replacement still occurs, which is when i put my car in reverse it still crackles/grinds(sometimes) and it hops/bounces(a lot) just as i let off the clutch as i give it little gas. right now i can't imagine not "riding" the clutch in reverse due to it jolting back(i know that "riding" the clutch is not good but i can't risk running into something/someone when my car does this!). lately i've been questioning the rapid decrease of the RPMs just as i disengage a gear into another gear or completely disengaging into neutral and for some reason i'm guessing it may be the IAC? my few questions will be: is it normal for the RPMS to fall quick as you're disengaging/engaging into another gear? is there a solution to the hoping in reverse? and an off subject question: why does my a/c not blow hot air when i put it all the way to red? thank you for the answers, all appreciated!

How to get torqued lug nuts out?

Alright so i have a 74 super beetle that i have been working on i went to go do a brake job on it and the lug nuts on the back wheels are completely stuck. I tried using a PB spray, a blow torch and a cheater bar but nothing has worked. I even used the cheater bar and blow torch at the same time. Tailbone(coccyx) pain relief?

I have not fallen or done anything to my tailbone..it just started hurting about a week ago. I went to the doctor a couple days ago and she said it was coccydynia and that it would just go away on its own..and she also gave me some pain relievers(which do not help). The only thing I could think of was sitting in the floor(hardwood) too long. I cannot sit down or drive...even when I lay down, it hurts. Has anyone had this same problem? If so, how did you cope with it and how long can I expect my tailbone to hurt?

I have used L'Oreal's Sublime Glow and I really liked it. It is just a lotion and doesn't leave a lasting tan, but it will give color to pale skin. If your dress is orange and you have very fair skin, you might want to be careful that YOU don't appear orange with the use of tanners. Maybe do a test run the day before or something.

Hi. I am using my older brothers profile to ask thi, lol. Anyways, I am a little lost in life. I am 17, and have considered the Marine Corps for a while now. Problem is, I am generally a failure in school. I have the credit requirements to be a Senior next year, but I haven't received a grade higher than a C in 4 years. I routinely pull off 1.666-0.833 GPA's and I don't even think I have the overall 2.0 GPA requirement to graduate. I have no college ambitions. Not even at the community level. I am a tad bit out of shape, but I can fix that. I (hopefully) graduate in 2011. I have always wanted to join the Marine Corps, but now the recruiter has been telling me about the DEP and all that jazz. I haven't taken the ASVAB, and suck horribly at math. I want to join the Marines, but is it the right move? My parents refuse to co-sign the contract, so I have a while to think about it. I live in San Diego (a few blocks from MCRD), so "homesickness" would not be an issue. Once I take that oath, there is no turning back. My recruiter (like most of them) wants me to join as early as possible. Once I take that oath, there is no going back. Is the Marine Corps the right move?

Do you and your family feel settled where you live...I've moved 8 times in 10 years...?

My children are 3 and 12 weeks so most of the moves were made before I met my husband. At the moment we live in my home town...but I lived in a capital city for ten years before I met my husband. and moved a few times then...we are thinking of moving into the countryside in a different part of the country...but I worry that I won't ever feel settled or that I belong. I came back to my hometown as I have family here whose roots here that go back 200 years...but still dont feel I belong! Do I need antibiotics or not?

I came down with something last Wednesday night and it just attacked my nose with severe congestion, pain and pressure. Had sinus xray and my ent wanted me to go on antibiotics as a precaution. I was very weak on Friday and Saturday. I have not taken the antibiotics yet. Saturday night and Sunday and today my energy is back up but I am still severly congested and I woke up this morning with junk coming out of my chest. Seems like its moving down. Question..should I start the antibiotics now or wait a few more days ...its been 5 days now. Thanks for any suggestions. I have been trying to stay off the antibiotics this year. From what I have read of the last book ("The Deathly Hallows"), I think that Harry (and most likely Ron and Hermione) will not be returning to Hogwarts. Harry said at the end of "The Halfblood Prince" that he would not be going back. Yet, I think that at some point the three of them will need to take their final exams in order to become full-fledged magicians and determine what their magical futures will be, unless that would not be necessary if they (or Harry in particular) are able to rid the magical world of Voldemort (although I tend to think that he is immortal to some degree; I doubt that he will be killed in total finality). As for Quidditch, it may have run its course for Harry since he is unlikely to become a professional Quidditch player. I really do not have a clue about RAB. I do love the Harry Potter books and think that J. K. Rowling is about the cleverest writer ever! I can not wait for the next (and I really do hope not the last) book to be released on July 21st and want to purchase it immediately before I hear how it ends!!

Whey protein questions?

Depends on which kind you buy, there are a bunch of them and they all claim something different. Also depends if you are trying to lose or gain weight. I'm going to ume you want to gain muscle weight, so I usually take mine one in the morning, one after my workout and one about 3 hours before bed (too close to bed and it is bad for your body to digest while sleeping, plus eating/drinking before bed can give you nightmares supposedly). Then I do 1 protein shake on my off days, but instead of just the powder and milk, I do powder, milk, and a few scoops of vanilla ice cream (low fat) in the blender and make a shake out of it. Helps to put on the pounds (muscle of course). Another thing to try if you are working on losing weight instead of gaining, or you gain fat and muscle when you take protein and lift and want to make it more just muscle, then try doing plain or vanilla yogurt with milk and vanilla flavored whey and throw some fresh (or frozen, just not canned) fruit of your choice in with it, blend, and viola, it's delicious and low fat. I like blueberries and bananas in mine, but try a few different combos and see what you like best. You can try more or less fruit too to determine what tastes best to you, but with fresh fruit you really can't go wrong. Good luck!

long story short i barrowed my older brothers new bmw m6 he has a performace exhaust its not even loud its more cly then it is loud i got pulled over by the chp 3 a.m. saturday morning i didnt know why i was getting pulled over but i immidiately pulled over the officer walks up to the car ask for liscense and registration and the other officer is drooling over the car looking at it more then anything the officer was very polite he told me he pulled me over for modified exhaust and asked how does my brother afford this car yada yada yada i think he pulled me over because im mexcian 20 years old with a 19 year old blonde in the peger wee hours of the morning and expensive car he politely asked me where are you coming from me being 100% honest i told him my girlfriends brothers birthday party and like a bomb he popped he started yelling and screaming telling me i smelled like alcohol i had not drinking any beverage in like 3 hours i told him are you sure he snapped pulled me out of the car gave me one FST with his pen i ped just fine he then tells me i will make sure you get a dui your under 21 let me grab my breathlyzer he pulls it out then he covers the exhaust port as he tries to stick it in my mouth i laughed and said wheres your thumb is it where its supposed to be or are you always just dis honest he handcuffed me put me in the back of the cruiser booked me for a dui .08 or greater they drew blood at the jail I WAS A WHOPPING .02 the cop filled his report with lies saying i was swaying my eyes where red and i looked intoxicated lies lies lies lies i spent 35 hours in jail i just got the discovery like two weeks ago my lawyers has been pretty helpful i ended up being charged with a dui infraction .01 to .04 under 21 but the vehicle code they put is this one 23140 VC which is a .05 to .07 doesnt make sence what should i expect at the pre trial can i ask for a dry and wreckless plea?????

I cant stop crying?!?

Ok so one morning my brother woke up at 6:30 and thought hey I'm not gonna wake up my sister so that she can be on time for school I'm gonna play on my playstation i was 45 minutes late to history on top of that I've got the history TAKS test coming up(a very big deal here in Texas) i was so mad i resolved to hide his game when i got home but when i got home ,when usually there's no one there my mom was home with my dad whom I usually only see on the weekends was there me and my mom had a fight when I tried to hide the game and i started crying but she seemed to understand when I explained why and we resolved the issue and my mom even made a joke that next time he makes us late we'd make him walk but when i went back into my room i burst into tears again and couldn't stop for a while I'm not sure if it had something to do with what happened that day or some other physiological reason but I just felt so horrible even though the the only thing that could've been making me upset was resolved I asked my friends and they said maybe it was a reaction to being late for cl but this was hardly my first really late tardy.have you ever been fine in every obvious way but were crying your eyes out what could cause this!? Its really bothering me.

My boyfriend very rarely contacts me when were apart?

My partner of 2.5 years was never really a person to contact me "for the sake of it" ever since we met. We rarely spend more than a day apart, but I like to hear from him even if it's just hello. But he says he doesn't have a need to, and prefers to talk to me when he sees me. So, every time were apart I feel as though I don't even exist to him. But when were in person, I feel very loved and he's attentive and affectionate. His mum says he was the same when he was younger and used to go to school camp, he'd very rarely call home. Is it important whether or not my partner contacts me when were apart, or am I placing too much emphasis on this? Are some people just not "telephone" people? Any thoughts?

Taking any medication on a regular basis is not to be recommended unless under a doctors orders so you can be tested for side effects etc. As I am not familiar with this drug I am afraid that is the only advice I can give. If it is a sleeping tablet then it is possibly ok for a short time but I would not recommend it for long term use. Talk to your local chemist / pharmacist for some more advice

the other day my italian teacher gave out grades for the marking period. when she told me mine i thought it was a bit lower then i expected, it was a 95. i thought it was supposed 2 be higher and she told me that she didnt count 1 h/w because someone in my cl copied it. in my cl when the teacher collects h/w we p it up in our row. when i ped mine up, 1 of the kids in front of me copied my h.w., i didnt p it up 4 him 2 copy it, i ped it up 2 hand it in. so each h.w. counts 2 pts for ur average. im supposed 2 have a 97, not a 95. i never miss a h.w. and my teacher nos tht. rite now on my transcipt i have a 89, im working on getting a 90 on it. and by my teacher doing this she is jepordizing my 90 on my transcipt. do u agree w/ me or my teacher 4 this grading policy? why should i be penalized for this? do i need 2 hire security 2 hand in h.w. 4 me 2 make sure no1 copies it???? i really want 2 say sumthin 2 my teacher, any ideas..?

White 'sacs' on eardrum and inner ear?

I was having a lot of clear ear drainage today and yesterday so I went to the Doctor. When she looked in there she said she saw "white fluid filled sacs" on my ear drum and in my inner ear but didn't know what they were, so she is referring me to ENT. You should at least get your thumb looked at. They usually dont put a big cast on a finger. You can always reject treatment, but you would at least have an informed decision then. Thats better than not going until a year from now and finding out your thumb needs surgery is permanently injured because you didnt get it treated.
